EPHEMERAL PRESAGE

EPHEMERAL PRESAGE

Using the wind to explore instability within environmental and political systems.

Ephemeral Presage is an ongoing installation project that uses wind and airflow as both material and metaphor. Drawing from political philosophy and atmospheric systems, the work examines the relationship between climate instability and structures of governance.

Through inflatable forms activated by the wind, the project transforms wind into a physically responsive force—one that shifts between guidance, pressure, collapse, and resistance. These unstable behaviors reflect broader tensions between environmental systems and attempts to regulate or control them.

Installed across natural and public environments, the work positions atmosphere as both medium and agent, creating temporary spatial conditions that evoke climate precarity, displacement, and the instability underlying contemporary political life.
